Oyindamola Akintayo

Oyindamola Akintayo holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and has carved a unique path at the intersection of creative design and social impact. I am deeply passionate about inclusive design, equitable representation, and utilizing visual storytelling to amplify the voices of marginalized individuals. My mission is to ensure that every identity—regardless of background, culture, or ability—is seen, heard, and respected.

Volunteering with ICYE Nigeria (Intercultural Youth Exchange) as a Brand Identity Designer, I have had the opportunity to develop culturally conscious visual materials that foster youth exchange, promote intercultural dialogue, and celebrate diversity. Through this work, I have strengthened my commitment to inclusion and accessibility, values that guide everything I do.

At Equality Global Support Foundation (EGSF), I use design as a tool to support equality initiatives and help create welcoming environments for immigrants, refugees, and underrepresented communities. Whether it’s designing campaigns that advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, crafting visuals that raise awareness about gender-based violence, or supporting newcomers through resource access and integration, my focus remains on visual equity, ensuring that every message reflects dignity, diversity, and humanity.

I have also collaborated on educational and advocacy materials designed to inform communities about their rights, promote cultural sensitivity, and challenge harmful stereotypes. My work extends to developing trauma-informed visual communications that support survivors of violence and mental health awareness efforts, ensuring our messages offer not only information but healing.

Over the years, I have developed skills in inclusive brand strategy, trauma-informed design, and accessible content creation, along with a strong understanding of social issues affecting immigrants, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I believe that creative work, when intentional, can dismantle bias, spark meaningful dialogue, and pave the way for a more equitable society.

Every person deserves a space where they belong, and I am honored to use my creative voice at EGSF to help build that space, one design at a time. Working alongside passionate changemakers, I remain committed to shaping a world where inclusion is not an afterthought but the foundation.
